Gdpr Delete Applicant

DELETE 
/api/v1/applicants/:applicant_id/gdpr-delete

Permanently delete applicant and all associated data (GDPR Article 17).

This action is IRREVERSIBLE. All personal data, documents, screening results, and related records will be permanently deleted.

Safeguards:

  • Requires explicit confirmation string 'CONFIRM_DELETE'
  • Checks for legal hold (cannot delete if under legal hold)
  • Checks AML retention requirements (cannot delete flagged/rejected records within retention period)

GDPR Article 17 exceptions that block deletion:

  • 17(3)(b): Legal claims
  • 17(3)(e): Legal obligations (AML requirements)
